RAWDING, Betty Joan - 78 of Greenwood died peacefully at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton, Friday, July 19, 2013. Born in Bridgetown, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Douglas and Anna Ruth (Mader) Comeau. Betty loved all animals and her favorite pastime was feeding the birds. A kind and gentle lady, she will be missed by many friends and family. Betty is survived by sister Olive (John) Michand, Ottawa; brothers Roland (Noel) Comeau, Ottawa, Douglas (Barbara) Comeau, Saulnierville and Frank (Vange) Comeau, Middleton. Grandson Chris (Zoe) Rawding, Margaretsville and granddaughters Angela (Brian) Stevens, Meadowvale, Tanya (Mieszko) Pilgrim-Pyszak, Yellowknife, NWT; great granddaughter Esmae and great grandson Jesse, son in law Thom, Yellowknife, NWT. She was predeceased by her husband Douglas; son Wayne and daughter Judy Pilgrim; sisters Mary and Dorothy "Dot"; brothers Eugene, Edward and Frederick. By Betty's request, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2013 in the Nictaux Cemetery, Rev. Leon Langille officiating.
