OUTHOUSE, Beulah Mae - 92, of Tiverton, NS passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012 in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital surrounded by her family. Born in Lower Ohio, Shelburne County, she was the daughter of the late Robert A. and Allie Mae (Churchill) Bower. A loving mother and grandmother, children held a special place in her heart and her family's presence always meant so much to her. Beulah was a retired school teacher. She served her community faithfully through membership in the Tiverton Baptist Church, Sunshine Bible Class, Tiverton Super Seniors, Islands Historical Society and other organizations over the years. Her home was always open to others and she had a true sense of hospitality. Beulah was generous, kind, loving, and had a strong quiet faith which brought her joy and peace. She is survived by her daughter, Helen (John) Ivens, Tiverton; sons, Tony (Doreen), Halifax; Bruce (Judy), Halifax; Roger (Dorothy), Freeport; sisters, Shirley Hysert, Hamilton, ON; Marguerite (James) Bower, Yarmouth and special nephew William (Shirley) Frausel, Ontario; grandchildren Ian, Paula, Jackie, Jeannie, Steven, Richard, Aaron, Sarah, Shane, Chelsea, Page; 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who will always remember her and keep the lessons she taught them close to their hearts. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband David (1996); sisters Catherine and Roberta; brothers Jack, Stanley and Robert. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service and interment will be held in the summer 2013. Donations in Beulah's memory may be made to the Tiverton United Baptist Church or to the charity of choice.
