Moseley, Beverly Doris – 78, of Nicholsville, Kings Co., NS; passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at home. Born in Berwick, NS, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Marjorie (Fredericks) Rockwell.
She began her life long calling to care for others when she graduated from the Nova Scotia Sanitorium in 1968. Shortly after she worked at the BFM (Blanchard Fraser Memorial Hospital) in Kentville, NS, before continuing her nursing career at Western Kings Memorial Hospital, Berwick, where she faithfully served for many years until her retirement in 1995. Even in retirement, her commitment to helping others never wavered, as she continued her nursing work at the Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre and provided in home respite care. Her dedication, kindness and gentle presence left a lasting impact on patients, colleagues all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her faith was central to her life. She was an active and devoted member of Morristown Baptist Church and a proud participant in the WMS. She cherished her time with the Red Hat Society, embracing joy, laughter and companionship.
Above all she was a devoted mother, grandmother and the heart of her family. Her greatest pride and joy were her daughters and grandchildren. She celebrated their accomplishments, encouraged their dreams, and surrounded them with unconditional love, strength and wisdom. She had a way of making each person feel seen, welcomed, and cared for. Her home was a place where doors were always open, meals were always shared and no one ever left without feeling a little more loved then when they arrived. Whether you were family, a friend or someone she just met, she treated you as her own.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, service and resilience that will continue to inspire all who knew her. Though she will be profoundly missed, her spirit lives on in the lives she touched and the family she cherished so deeply. Forever loved, always remembered.
Beverly was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, William Moseley. She is survived by her daughters, Denise (Troy) Gracie, Kingston, NS; and Leanne (Brent) Buckler, Nicholsville, NS; grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, Emma (Tyler Smith) Gracie; Macayle (Brooklyn) Buckler, Keelan, Grayson and Brennan Buckler. Also surviving are sisters, Paulette Anderson, Linda Rockwell, Patricia (Mike) Barnes, Susan (Roger) Lutz, Bobby (Sharon) Rockwell; many nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Gunner.
