GRANT, Blair Andrew-55 of Kingston, NS passed away Monday, May 9, 2011 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Middleton, he was a son of Matilda Grant, Berwick and the late Freeman Grant. Blair loved to tinker with carpentry work and mechanic work as well as going for walks and yard sales. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, the former Rose Oliver, Kingston; sisters, Myrtle (John), New Minas and Carolyn (Cliff), Bear River; brothers, Glen (Judy), Aylesford and Rodney, Bridgetown and several nieces and nephews. Besides his father, he was predeceased by brother, Ronald. Visitation will be held 7:00 to 9:00PM, Wednesday, May 11, 2011 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street (902) 825-3448, where the funeral service will be held 2:00PM Thursday, May 12, 2011 with Rev. Michael Mugford officiating. Interment will be in the Paradise Cemetery followed by a reception at the home of Maggie Sabean, 68 Victoria Road, Wilmot, family and friends are welcome.
