Montrose, Brenda Margaret – 75, of Wilmot, Nova Scotia, passed peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer, Tuesday, December, 20 th 2016 surrounded by her family. Born in Amherst, NS, she was the daughter of the late Garnet Fraser, her late mother, Gladys (VanBuskirk) Atkinson. Survived by step-father Chesley Atkinson of Pugwash, NS. She is the loving wife of Vernon Montrose; Son, Brad Montrose (Mary), Wilmot, NS; daughters, Angela Gregan (Robert), Sydney, NS, Holly Schiffner(Mark), Delaware, ON. Grandchildren, Shannon Castle(Garry), Ashlee Lynch(Cam), Nathan Schiffner, Bobby & Connor (Natasha) Gregan, Matthew (Taylor), Tyler (Chelsea), BriAnna & Haleigh Montrose. Great-grandchildren, Ela, Oliver, Ruby, Hunter, Abygail, Madelynn, Olivia, Cassidy, Walker, Cooper & Myla. She is sister to Roderick (Carol) Atkinson of PEI and predeceased by her brother, Darrell Atkinson. She will be missed by her "Tea Ladies" and always remembered by her dear friend Madalyn.
