PARKS, Brenda "Paulette" ~ age 73 of Middleton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 in Heart of the Valley Long Term Care Centre, Middleton. Born in Douglasville, NS, she was a daughter of the late Rupert and Bernice (Williston) Parks. Paulette was a funny, loving, outgoing and creative lady, who loved Elvis and country music. She was devoted to God and her family and loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. Paulette will be deeply missed by her daughters, Linda Elmore (Billy MacLaughlin), Edmonton; Sandy Elmore (Tony Kinsman), Shearwater and their father, Frank (Donna) Elmore, Port George; daughter-in-law, Pam Elmore, Okmulgee, Oklahoma; sisters, Gertrude (Ed) Sawicki, Medicine Hat, AB; Wendy Parks (Stan Maybury), Dartmouth; brothers, Lyman (Isabelle) Parks, Nictaux; David (Linda) Parks, Berwick; Lloyd Parks, Simcoe, ON; Neil Parks, Dartmouth; and Paul (Betty) Parks, Paradise; grandchildren, Jason Phillips (Madison VanWest), Toronto; Ronin Kinsman (Mia Fraser), Halifax and Hayden Kinsman (Mohannad Alkayale), Halifax. Besides her parents, Paulette was predeceased by her son, Steven Elmore. In keeping with Paulette's wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will take place at Hillside Cemetery, Port George at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
