GLAVIN, Brian William ~ Age 67, of Kingston, Kings Co., passed away suddenly on Friday, January 7, 2022, in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born on September 13, 1954, in Perth, New Brunswick. Brian started his financial career with RBC Treasury in Toronto, ON and Accounts Manager in Kentville, NS, later retiring from Blue Wave Energy Accounts Manager. Brian was an avid golfer, living close by to Pargaon, Golf & Country Club, where he was a devoted member. Surviving are his wife of 13 years, the former Deborah Barrett; son, MacKenzie Glavin, Kentville; daughter, Lucy (David Palmer) White, Halifax; brother, Tony (Amber) Glavin, Enfield; sisters, Victoria (Floyd) Graham, Brier Island; Carol Glavin, Kentville; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his mother, Leitha M. (White) Glavin, he was predeceased by his first wife, the former Elizabeth A. Russell. Due to current pandemic restrictions, there will be a private service, by invitation only, with masking, hand sanitization and proof of vaccination and ID being required.
