ROY, Brian Oliver ~ Age 71, of Tremont, Kings Co., passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 12, 2020, at home. Born on November 26, 1948, in Liverpool, Queens Co., he was a son of the late Lincoln and Margaret (McCoombs) Roy. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, the former Coleen Purdy; son, Brian (Michelle) Roy Jr.; grandchildren, Luke, Sophia (twin), Madison & Levi; brothers, Ronald (Karen), Arthur (Shirley) and Jeff (Angela) Roy, all of Liverpool. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brother, Richard Roy. Brian had worked at O.H. Armstrong, retiring after 35 years of employment. Brian enjoyed spending vacation time with his son, his wife and four grandchildren. Brian and his Coleen enjoyed their hobby farm in Tremont, where they raised cattle and horses. He also enjoyed planting a nice big garden and attending all exhibitions as well as horse and ox pulls. Brian and his wife enjoyed time spent on the south shore, where they enjoyed nice walks on the sandy beaches there. He will be sadly missed by his family.  In keeping with Brian's wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of Brian's life will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to any charity.
