It is with great sadness that the family of Brody Levi Best, 43 announce his sudden passing Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Valley regional Hospital Kentville. Born April 5, 1981, he was the son of Heather Best and the late Stanley Banks. Brody spent most of his upbringing in the Tremont area of the Annapolis valley and resided most recently in Canning NS, where he worked alongside some great friends at Acadia Roofing.

He was always a hard worker but as most who knew him knew, his real passion was music. There are few who possessed the musical talent and passion that Brody did.

Brody loved his family deeply and was a loyal friend to those he was closest. He loved the outdoors and animals, especially his cat Rosie and his best bud Frankie. Anyone who crossed paths with Brody throughout his life would have been impacted by his enormous talent, energy, sense of humor, love and giant hugs that will surely live on in memories of us all.

Brody was a beautiful person with a huge heart who will be missed by those who survive him, including his mother, Heather Best; son, Kayden Browning; sisters, Dayla (Sandy) Best, Shianna (Matthew) McKay, Samara (Shayna) Best; grandfather, Donald (Deanna) Snider; uncle Waldon Banks; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and cherished nieces and nephews. Brody was predeceased by his father, Stanley Banks; grandparents, Phillip and Opal Banks; grandmother, Rosamond Snider. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to be held at New Beginnings in Greenwood at 2:00p.m. on February 8th 2025, with reception to follow. Neal Armstrong officiating.
