Obituary

Brown, Bruce Alexander ~ 73 of South Greenwood, NS passed away peacefully at home with his loving family at his side Saturday, September 6, 2025. Born on September 13, 1951, in Cooks Brook, Nova Scotia, he was a son of the late Ralph and Beatrice (Hillier) Brown.
Bruce was retired after 31 years of service with the Royal Canadian Air Force. He was a past member of the RCAFA Valley Wing #107. Bruce enjoyed playing darts, working around his house and in the yard.
Surviving are his wife of over 30 years, Suzanne Fisher; son, Glenburne Brown; daughter, Summer Anne Brown; stepdaughter, Janette "Jay" Fisher; stepson, Paul Fisher; brothers, Laurie (Millie), Calvin (Valerie); sisters, Mary Ellen (Albert (d.)) Isenor, Nancy (Al (d.)) Clair, Linda Duffey, Marion (John (d.)) Snow, Carolyn (Pat (d.)) Shreenan; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Aubrey, Owen ("Dan"), Monty, Bob and sisters, Kathleen, Diane and Betty.
In keeping with Bruce's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Donations in Bruce's memory may be made to the charity of your choice. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to N.P. Sona Thankachan, Dr. Lori Burgess, Amanda Graham (Palliative Care Team); Stacy, Ashley (VON Team) and the EHS teams (Alex, Dane and the two young ladies) for all their kindness, care and compassion.
