KAULBACH, Bruce G. ~ Age 56, of Paradise, Annapolis Co., passed away peacefully on Friday, February 24, 2023, in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born on May 1, 1966, in Middleton, he was a son of the late Earle L. and Katherine S. (Rice) Kaulbach. Bruce was a man of many talents, and was able to do carpentry, electrical, plumbing and could install siding. He enjoyed time spent cooking, baking and playing darts in Bridgetown. Bruce had a trade in small engine and ATV repair, once owning his own business. He had been employed at Britex and at A.M. Jazey's Furniture and Appliances – installing carpet and moving furniture. Surviving are fiancée, Stacy L. Amero-Ogilvie; stepchildren, Adam Ogilvie and Jessica Lloyd; step grandson, Charlie Ogilvie (who Bruce loved dearly and considered to be his pride and joy), and his mother, Destiny; sisters, Dianne (Brian) Nowe, Bridgewater; Susan (Christopher Robin) Fader, New Elm; brothers, David (Joyce) Kaulbach, Lequille; Brian (Megan) Kaulbach, Bridgetown; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, the former Lisa A. Watkins; stepson, Dillon Ogilvie. The family will receive visitors from 1-2 p.m., followed by funeral service in celebration of Bruce's life beginning at 2 p.m., both on Sunday, March 5, in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., toll free 1-855-825-3448. Rev. Dr. Danny Smith officiating, with interment in Riverside Cemetery, Bridgetown. Donations in his memory may be made to Carey Me Fund ~ Supporting Palliative Care in the Home, Victorian Order of Nurses ~ Annapolis Valley or to your favourite charity.
