Carol Anne Deveau ~ 1945-2024

Carol Deveau was a devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed peacefully on May 9, 2024 at the age of 79.

She was born in Yarmouth, NS in 1945 to Herman and Frances LeBlanc.  She married Denny Deveau on April 21st, 1965 and they shared a wonderful and adventurous life together, travelling where the Canadian Armed Forces took them, and created wonderful lifelong friendships and amazing lasting memories.  In 1985, they built their home in Kingston, NS where Carol kept a beautiful home and enjoyed being in the kitchen hosting family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband, Denny Deveau, their two sons, Denny and Craig; grandson, Kevin; brother, Paul LeBlanc; and a circle of lifelong friends.

She is predeceased by her parents, Herman and Frances; step mother, Audrey; sister, Eileen; and brother, Ronnie.

Special thanks and appreciation to her doctors (and friends) Adam Clarke & Rebecca Taylor Clarke, and all of the outstanding staff at Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville (for their amazing care and compassion), Dr. Bruce Musgrave and Dr. Don Clarke.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
