It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Anne Price of Kingston, Nova Scotia on Thursday, Sept.12, 2024, at the age of 79. She passed away peacefully at Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville, Nova Scotia, with her family by her side. A beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, she will be missed by many.

Carol was born on May 25, 1945, in Kentville to Richard "Dick" and Dorothy (Martin) Irving. Growing up in Baxters Harbour, she sang soprano with the Irving Family Singers. She joined her siblings and father singing most weekends at variety shows and hymn sings. She graduated from Mack Business College and worked for many years as a Civilian Personnel Officer at CFB Greenwood. On May 25, 1968, she married Kenneth Price. They raised a son, Alan and daughter, Karen and enjoyed an exciting life as a military family.

Carol was devoted to her grandchildren, Shelby, Freddy, and Rachel, and spoke about them with tremendous pride.
