DEMPSEY-WARD, Carolyn Margaret ~ Age 75, of Weltons Corner, Kings Co, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024, in Valley Hospice, Kentville. Born on May 24, 1949, in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Margaret (McMahon) Smith. Carolyn had worked for many years in commercial lines of the insurance business. She is survived by her beloved husband of 28 years, C. LeRoy Ward; sister, Joyce Horsnell, Dempsey Corner. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Lloyd O. Dempsey; sister, Sandra Creamer. In accordance with Carolyn's wishes there was no visitation or funeral service. A private interment took place at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 19, in Aylesford Union Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to your favourite charity.
