PORTER, Carolyn Anne ~ Age 84, of Middleton, Annapolis Co., N.S., passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025, at her home. Born on May 13, 1941, in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Thelma (Wilson) Martin. Carolyn and her late husband enjoyed dancing and spending winters together in Florida. She was a good cook and loved to feed people. Carolyn enjoyed knitting and crafting. Surviving are her son, Paul (Jennifer) Porter; daughters, Brenda Porter-Keddy (Vernon); Elaine Porter (Daniel Thurber); April Porter-Comeau (Daniel); grandchildren, Jackson, Alexandra, Issac and Jonah (Rose); brother, James Martin (May); sister Patricia Nielsen (the late William); sister-in-law, Dorothy Martin; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Gordon "Chick" and Walter Martin. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will take place at a later date in Berwick Cemetery, Main Street, Berwick.
