UHLMAN, Carroll Sherman - 81yrs, of Factorydale, Kings Co., NS passed away Sunday, June 10, 2012 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Middleton, he was a son of the late Leon and Doris (Hatt) Uhlman. Carroll retired after 30 years as a Maintenance Foreman with Eastern Bakeries, Berwick. He loved camping, travelling, snowmobiling and riding his ATV. Carroll enjoyed bluegrass and country music and loved going to jam sessions. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, the former Glennie Stingel; daughter, Rhonda (Michael) Conrad, Dartmouth; son, Gordon Uhlman (Fern Mahaney), Windermere; brother, Arthur (Audrey) Uhlman, Torbrook Mines; grandchildren, Natasha Uhlman (Danny Veinot), Torbrook; Adam Conrad and Logan Conrad, both of Dartmouth; great grandchildren, Jace and Fallan and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 7-9PM Wednesday, June 13, 2012 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448 where the funeral service will be held 2:00PM Thursday June 14, 2012 with Rev. Bill McLeod officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow the service. Private family interment will be in the Morristown Cemetery. By request, family flowers only.
