Turpin, Catherine "Cathy" Elizabeth Rose Bernadette – Age 71 mother of three, and loving wife to husband Gregory Brock Turpin, passed away on the afternoon of February 10 ^th . Cathy was born in 1950 in Halifax and grew up surrounded by her large family, she had four siblings and an abundance of beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins whom she grew up with.

Cathy was the heart of her family, a loving and caring woman who always gave comfort to others. She was a devoted mother to her three children and never stopped spoiling her two grandchildren even once they were grown women. She was a caring and generous woman who played a mean hand of crib and loved being surrounded by her family.

Catherine was predeceased by her husband, Gregory Turpin and her mother, Marion Budgell. She will be greatly missed by her family. She is survived by her four siblings, Carol, Mick, Helen, and Phyllis; three children, Glen (Alex), Kimberly, and Laurie; two granddaughters, Mckayla (Jason) and Brenna. Her first great grandchild will be born this Spring.
