Obituary

FRASER, Catherine Alice-87 of Margaretsville died peacefully at Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton Sunday, April 28, 2013. Born in Port Morien, CB, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Susan (Martell) Peach. Alice enjoyed gardening, quilting and embroidering. She was an active member of the Church choir and the Women's Guild. Alice was a great friend, wife, sister and a wonderful mother who will be greatly missed. She is survived by daughters, Debbie (Tom) Chapman, Sarnia, ON; Cathy (David) Thomas, Margaretsville; Darlene (James) Spencely, Sarnia, ON; son, Wayne Koskinen, Mission, BC, grandchildren, Allison, Erin, Lesley, April, Joseph, Julie, Tammy and 12 great grandchildren; brothers, Melvin (Helen) Peach, Donkin, CB; Ted (Helen) Peach, Wilmot and LeRoy (Barb) Peach, Port Morien, CB. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by husband, Reginald Smith; sisters, Frances, Sarah and Beatrice; brothers, Gordon, George, Aulay, Milledge "Joe" and Turner. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held 7:00 to 9:00PM Friday, May 3, 2013 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00AM Saturday, May 4, 2013 in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Middleton with Father Michael McKeage officiating. Interment will be in Church Grove Cemetery, Melvern Square. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be to Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia.
