Catherine Lynn Hallett

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Catherine Lynn Hallett, age 67, of Kingston, Nova Scotia, on July 15, 2026, following a brief and courageous battle with lung cancer.

Born in Shelburne, Nova Scotia, Catherine was a fighter whose strength and determination remained evident throughout her illness. She had a wonderful sense of humor and could always make those around her laugh. She will be remembered for her resilience, her warmth, and the love she shared with family and friends.

Above all, Catherine cherished her family. She especially adored her grandchildren, who brought immense joy and pride to her life. Every moment spent with them was treasured, and the love she had for them was evident in everything she did.

Catherine is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Nicole Keddy (Jared); her son, Cody Robar (Jill); her beloved grandchildren, Jaxon and Emalee Keddy, and Andi Robar; her sister, Brenda Greene (Jack); and her loving partner, Gary Manuel.

She was predeceased by her parents, Churchill and Lillian Hallett; her half-brother, Gary Spicer; and her beloved granddaughter, Elliette Robar.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the paramedics, the compassionate staff of Medical A, and Dr. Mulherin for the exceptional kindness, care, and support they provided to Catherine and her family. Your compassion during this difficult time will never be forgotten.

In keeping with Catherine's wishes, there will be no service. Though she is no longer with us, Catherine's strength, laughter, and love will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
