WHITMAN, Catherine Kniffen, North Williamston passed away, Monday, March 12, 2012 in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in Allain's Creek, Annapolis Royal, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Catherine (Kniffen) Woodbury. Catherine enjoyed knitting and she was very proud of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is survived by daughters, Frances (Reginald) Drew, Auburn and Mary White, Nictaux; sons, Robert (Donna) Whitman, Middleton and John Whitman, Ottawa; 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Levi and brother, John Woodbury. Visitation will be held 7:00 to 9:00PM , Wednesday, March 14, 2012 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448 where the funeral service will be held 2:00PM Thursday, March 15, 2012 with Pastor Patty Beals officiating.
