Payson, Charles Bernard "Charlie" ~ age 66 of Meadowvale / Ottawa, ON. It is with sadness the family of Charlie Payson announces his passing. Charlie was born April 4, 1951 in Middleton. He was a heavy equipment operator. He was gifted like his father and could fix anything. He loved fishing and received a lot of peace in his last years spending time at a camp on the lake. Although he grew up in Meadowvale, he spent the latter part of his life in Ottawa, ON until his passing on February 22, 2018. Charlie was predeceased by his father Stephen Bernard Payson. He is survived by his mother Dorothy (MacMaster) Payson of Brookfield; his daughter Danielle (Greg) Jones and grandson, Kiefer, of New Brunswick; his sisters, Frances (Hubert) Vienneau of Cape Breton; Nancy (Philip) Messom of Bible Hill; Sherryl (Monty) Patton of Brookfield; his brothers Robert Payson of Bear River; Willis (Candra) Payson of Alberta; Gordon (Jodean) Payson of Alberta; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Service will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 14, 2018 in the United Baptist Church, Brookfield. Interment in Torbrook Mines Cemetery at 2:00 pm, April 15th.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: www.ottawamission.com or the Canadian Cancer Society.
