JOHNSTON, Cheryl Lynne ~ Age 68, of South Greenwood, Kings Co., passed away peacefully, but too soon on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born on May 2, 1954 , in Belleville, Ontario, she was a daughter of the late Lucy (Sinclair) McBrien and Gerald Johnston. Cheryl was a sister to Robin Johnston and Candace LeBlanc; loving mother of Shane Welin (Elizabeth), Lindsay Doiron (Kyle) and Renee (Brad) Beardsley; grandmother to James and Addison; partner to Neil Currie. She was a wonderful daughter, partner, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who will be sadly missed and remembered fondly by so many. Cheryl was a well-known sales associate at Leon's, and loved her job there. A time in celebration of her life will be announced at a future date. Interment will take place in Ontario at a later date.
