LERETTE, Chester Claude ~ It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved "Chet". After a long but courageous battle with kidney disease, he passed away peacefully on Friday October 22, 2021, at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Middleton, with his family by his side. He is survived by his loving wife, Tilley; son, Stephen (Peggy); and daughter -in-law, Anne; sisters, Pat, Caroline; grandchildren, Ian (Sherry), Sarah (Mel), Justin (Kim); great-grandchildren, Dylan, Nicholas, Kayla, Emily, Shaden, Koen, Kaleigh, Jaya and Jordan; brother and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. Chester was predeceased by son, Wayne; brother Harold; and his parents, Leslie and Elsie Lerette. Chet was a hard-working man and cherished his family dearly. He proudly served the government and the people of Canada for over 40 years. Cremation has taken place and there will be no service. A private family gathering will take place at a later date.
