BALTZER, Christina Evelyn age 72 of Greenwood passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, May 20, 2016 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. She was born in Halifax, NS December 24, 1943 and was raised in Pomquet, NS. Christina worked for 27 years with 14 Wing Greenwood, Telecommunications and after her retirement she then worked for Bell Mobility, Greenwood Mall for another 10 years. Left to cherish her memory is her best friend and husband of 43 years Scott; her son, William Richard Ward, Jr., Edmonton, AB and her daughters, Michelle King, Kentville, NS; Karen (Stephen) Maiholz, Berwick, NS and Robin (Corey) Gillis, Miscouche, PE; step-brother, Simon (Patsy) Doiron, Pomquet, NS; sisters, Sarah Jane Benoit, Pomquet, NS and Zr. Maria Goretti Durant, Delft, Holland, 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, William Richard Ward, Sr., step-parents Margaret and Louis Doiron, biological mother, Hattie Durant, brother-in-law John Benoit and son-in-law Duane King. In keeping with Christina's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00PM Monday, May 23, 2016 in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street (902) 825-3448 with Rev.
