CALDWELL, Cindy Arlene – age 57 of Paradise, NS passed away suddenly Friday, May 5, 2017 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville surrounded by her family. Born in Middleton, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Priscilla (Banks) Hebb. Cindy was employed for 16 years as an Early Childhood Educator and Director of the Jack & Jill Preschool in Paradise. She enjoyed life, loved her family and loved every child. She was very active with the Emmanuel Congregational Christian Church, Middleton. Cindy also taught Sunday School for 15 years in Paradise and Story Time at the Lawrencetown Library and was past treasurer of the Group Committee of 1st Lawrencetown Scouting movement. Cindy was a tissue donor, helping to improve the quality of lives for others. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Cindy is survived by her husband of 34 years, Tony Caldwell, Paradise; daughter, Debra (Alex) Shields, Victoria Vale; sons, Jamie (Kim Bezanson), Centrelea; Dominic (Jacqueline Seamon), Auburn; sisters, Shannon (Tyan) Farley, Torbrook; Francis (Tony) Williams, Edmonton, AB; Jessica Hebb, Truro; brothers, Russell "Butch" (Pattie) Hebb, Shubenacadie; William Hebb (Wanda), Bonnyville, AB; grandchildren Michael, Damien, Julian, Kolten, Ali, Topanga and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters Merritt and Wendy. In keeping with Cindy's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held 7:00PM-9:00PM Monday, May 8, 2017 in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448. A Celebration of life service will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, May 9, 2017 in Emmanuel Congregational Christian Church, 37 Gates Avenue, Middleton with Rev. Sweis Ubels officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow the service. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Lawrencetown. Donations in Cindy's memory may be made to Jack & Jill Preschool.
