It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Cindy Lee Fraser, age 59 of Greenwood, NS on Friday August 4, 2023. Born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, she was a daughter of the late John and Marjorie (Dorrington) Fraser.

Cindy worked outside the home for many years mostly in the administrative field as Sales Manager. Cindy enjoyed sewing, playing slow pitch and watching her nephew's hockey games. She loved decorating for every occasion and holiday – especially Christmas. Cindy had a soft heart for animals and adopted many stray animals into her home over the years.

It is no doubt that Cindy believed her greatest accomplishment was being a Mom and Nanny. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and her daughter was her proudest and most cherished achievement. Cindy had an immense love and dedication to her family; always making family a priority in her life. Cindy will be remembered for her soft, kind heart and willingness to always go above and beyond to help others. She touched the lives of so many. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.

Cindy is survived by her daughter, Julianne (Jonathan) Pothier, Greenwood; stepdaughter Samara Zwicker, Dartmouth; stepson, Zachary (Louise) Zwicker, Scots Bay; her siblings, John (Molly) Fraser; Debbie (Jim) Anders; Cathy (Lorne) Compton; Julia (Kerry) Smith; Bill (Kathy) Fraser; Vincent (Brenda) Fraser; Tammy (Bob) Jones; Denise (Darin) Kennedy; grandchildren, Parker, Emily, Connor and Marley; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. As per Cindy's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of choice.
