WENTZELL, Clara M. "Clare"– 90yrs of Brickton, went to be with her precious Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 19, 2018 in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in Douglasville, she was a daughter of the late David and Ada (Kilpatrick) Fritz. Clare held Sunday school for over 20 years in the Brickton Community Hall and sometimes would have up to 20-30 children attend. She was employed for 2 years at the Save Easy, Middleton and 22 years at the Beaver Fruit Co-op, Lawrencetown. Clare was a member of the Senior Ladies Auxiliary of Lawrencetown United Baptist Church and was the Teller for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Beverley (Alan) Bent, Bridgetown; her sons, Gary (Marcia) Wentzell, Brickton; Brian (Sandra) Wentzell, Kentville; her grandchildren, Holly Wentzell; Melissa Marshall; Paul (Jennifer) Wentzell; Amanda (Maurice) Bent-Colpitts; Robyn Bent; Hannah Wentzell; Alison Wentzell; great-grandchildren, Amelia, Jacob, Caden, Lyla, Ryland, Hailey; sister Anne deHaan, Red Deer, Alberta and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband Malcolm "Mac" Wentzell; brothers, Harold and Leander and great-grandson, Ethan. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service and reception will be held 2:00PM Sunday, July 22, 2018 in the Lawrencetown United Baptist Church with Rev. Barbara Bishop officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Lawrencetown. A heartfelt thank you is extended from the family to all the staff at Mountain Lea Lodge for all their care and compassion shown to our mother and grandmother. Donations in memory may be made to the Lawrencetown United Baptist Church or to the charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448.
