BROWN, Clifford George-60 of Nictaux West, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2010 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Calgary, AB, he was a son of Frances (Meagher) Brown, New Germany and the late Clifford Clair Brown. Clifford was employed for over 30 years as a Certified Engineering Technician, CE Section, 14 Wing Greenwood and was a member of Tech Nova. Clifford was very involved with sports and family, having raised 2 sons as a single parent. Besides his mother, he is survived by son, Robert Brown, Nictaux West; sister, Kerry (Karl) Hicks, Dominion, Cape Breton; brothers, Garry (Joy) Brown, Bridgetown; Les (Alexandra) Brown, Halifax; one granddaughter and one grandson. He was predeceased by his father and son, Stephen. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held 7:00 to 9:00PM Monday, August 16, 2010 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448, where a Memorial Service will be held 11:00AM, Tuesday, August 17, 2010 Padre Frank Staples officiating. Interment will be in St. Andrews Cemetery, Elderbank, NS at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to a charity of choice.
