CHARLTON, Clifton "Tippy" Laurie - age 68, of Nictaux, passed away suddenly Tuesday January 14, 2020 at home. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of Vivian (Veinot) Charlton and the late Laurie Charlton. Tippy retired from working at MT&T, Bell Aliant after 26 years. He then went to work for Mid Valley Construction. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time and loved watching hockey. Tippy is survived by his mother, Vivian Charlton, Lake Pleasant; daughter, Lori (Raymond) Mailman, Tremont; son, Ryan, Nictaux; grandchildren, Alyssa and Lucas Mailman, Tremont; brothers, Bruce (Gail), Woodstock, NB, Eric, Lake Pleasant. Besides his father he was predeceased by his wife of 44 yrs., Patricia "Pat" (Sprague) Charlton. Cremation has taken place. There will be no service held at this time. Interment will take place at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to Diabetes Canada or Canadian Cancer Society.
