ZINCK, Clyde Russell — Age 88, of Prince Albert, NS, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Middleton, he was the son of the late Lamont and Irene (Craig) Zinck.
Clyde was a talented carpenter throughout his life, working for Roscoe Construction before operating his own business. He took great pride in his craftsmanship and was known for his dedication and attention to detail. Beyond his work, Clyde loved spending time in the outdoors—especially in the woods, fishing, and hunting. These were not just hobbies but passions that reflected his deep connection to nature.
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Betty Acker, Outram; sons, David Zinck, Prince Albert; Russell Wile, Middle Cornwall; Ralph Wile, Middle Cornwall; half-sister, Marilyn Ramey, Union Square; stepbrothers, Owen Zinck, Falkland Ridge, and Allan Zinck, Lake Pleasant; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, Clyde was predeceased by his stepmother, Annetta Veinot, and stepbrother, Byron Zinck.
In keeping with Clyde's wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 2, 2025, in Springfield Cemetery, with Rev. Leon Langille officiating.
