Doherty (Hockley), Constance "Connie" Ruth - Age 83 of Greenwood, Kings Co., passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023, in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Dartmouth, she was a daughter of the late Ronald and Winnifred (Elford) Hockley. Connie attended Centerville School, KCA, and Mack Business College Kentville.

She married in 1958 and traveled to many RCAF Stations with her husband and children. She was a very active member of RCAFA 107 Valley Wing in Greenwood for 35 years. She enjoyed curling, bowling, golf, and darts. She was married to her husband Percy for 63 years.

She is survived by her husband, Percy Doherty; daughter, Christine (Rick Forget), Lachute, Que; sons, Steven Doherty (Julie), Kingston ON, Bradley Doherty (Darren), Vancouver BC; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; brother, Fred Hockley, Berwick.  Connie was predeceased by her wonderful dear son, Tom, age 56; and sister, Jean Bush.
