GREENE, Cora Mae - 85yrs, of Nictaux, NS passed away Friday, December 6, 2013 in the Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Nictaux, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Grace (Durling) Coleman. Cora enjoyed playing cards, especially 45's and loved to bake. She dedicated her life to raising her family and loved them all dearly, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Anna (Earl) Goski, Kingston; Susan (D. Gordon) Gamble, Kingston Peninsula, NB; Janet (Jeff) Holmyard, Barrie, ON; Kathey (Richard) Carey, Nictaux; her sons, Allen (Louise) Greene and Jack (Brenda) Greene, both of Nictaux; her sister, Annie Norman, St. John, NB; her brother, Rod (Sandra) Coleman, Black Rock; 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Eugene; her brothers, Curtis, Spinks, Allie, Harry, Floyd and her granddaughter, Jennifer. By Cora's request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 11:00AM Friday, December 13, 2013 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448 with Rev. Bill McLeod officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow the service. Interment will be in the Nictaux Cemetery. Donations in Cora's memory may be made to the IWK Health Centre or Mid- Valley Palliative Care.
