BISHOP, Corinne Elaine- 79 of West Paradise passed away Friday, October 3, 2014 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Dorothy (Vidito) Pierce. Corinne attended the Kingston Bible College Academy and was a graduate of Mack Business College, Kentville. She enjoyed doing crafts, knitting and gardening and sometimes golf. Corinne was a member of both the Paradise and West Paradise Baptist Churches. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, John; daughters, Pamela (Daniel) Darrow, Shelburne and Valerie (Wayne) Sjolin, Toronto; son David Reginald (Crystal) West Paradise; grandchildren, Amy, Sarah, Courtenay, Carly and Mitchell and great grandchild Peyton; sisters-in-law Margaret Pierce, Auburn and Juanita Pierce, Kingston, NS and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Donald, Sherman and Allen. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 24th in the Paradise United Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Reece officiating. Interment will be in the West Paradise Cemetery. By request, family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to the West Paradise Cemetery or a charity of your choice.
