Obituary

Crispin M. Gapasin, Jr. passed away peacefully on September 6, 2022, at his home in Kingston, Nova Scotia at the age of 75 after battling Parkinson's disease for 5 years. He spent most of his working life in Saudi Arabia in order to provide for his family in the Philippines. His sense of sacrifice and duty to his family was evident through his unwavering commitment and dedication to ensure a good life and education for his children that paved the way to their success.  He also generously opened his home to support his extended family while they pursued their own degrees. He is survived by his wife, Lermy C. Gapasin, daughters: Lorena, April, and Cristin; a son-in-law, Gilbert, and his 3 grandchildren: Lauren, Gilliane, and Gilson. Crispin and Lermy have been married for 47 years. Although 21 of their marriage were spent in a long-distance relationship, the last few years of their life together allowed them to share and cherish beautiful memories. His life was a true testament of God's love and faithfulness. A mark of a strong, responsible, and hard-working father.  To Cris, a husband, a father, and a grandfather, you will be truly missed.  Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main St., toll free: 1-855-825-3448. The online guestbook may be signed by visiting: www.middletonfuneralhome.com

His favorite bible verse:

Proverbs 3:5-6

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him,

and he will make your paths straight."
