Obituary

Snider, Curtis Richard – 31, of Wilmot, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday January 4, 2020 at Soldier's Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Kentville he is the son of Rick Snider and Rana (David) Hodges. Curtis had a passion for his profession as a truck driver. He enjoyed playing guitar. Curtis loved going for drives or his 'coffee tours' with Mike, listening to his favourite tunes. He was a devoted father to his "princess", Kylee. He loved his family dearly. He will be remembered for his courageous strength and determination during his illness. He fought coming into the world and fought hard to stay in it. Curtis is survived by his father, Rick Snider, Tremont; his mother & step father, Rana (David) Hodges, Wilmot; daughter, Kylee Snider, Greenwood; brothers, Dustin Snider, Meadowvale, Kaleb Corkum, Tremont; sisters, Hailey Hodges & Desiree Hodges, both of Wilmot, Shaylee Corkum, Tremont; paternal grandparents, Don (Deanna) Snider, Kingston; maternal grandparents, David (Ann) McBride, Greenwood; several nieces and nephews. Curtis was predeceased by his grandmother, Rose Snider. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday January 11, 2020 at Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main St., Middleton, N.S. Toll Free 1-855-825-3448. Rev. Leon Langille officiating. Interment will take place in Aylesford Union Cemetery followed by a reception at the Aylesford and District Fire Hall. Family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
