FITZGERALD, Cynthia Eva Cindy-33, of Kentville, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2010 in the QEII Health Sciences VG Site two days after a liver transplant. Cindy was born in Wolfville on November 27, 1976. She was previously employed with Blockbuster Video, New Minas and worked with the Acadia Axemen Hockey Team and Acadia Minor Hockey. Cindy lived for her children and was a very dedicated hockey mom. She truly believed in angels. She leaves to mourn her, husband, Jason; daughter, Alyssa, son, Kyle, all of Kentville; her dad, Brian Saunders, Blue Mountain; sisters, Heather Saunders, Kentville and Samantha Saunders, Truro; mother-in-law, Susan Fitzgerald, Wilmot and sister-in-law, Karen Fitzgerald, Halifax. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 7:00PM, Wednesday, October 13, 2010 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448, Rev. Bill McLeod officiating.
