MARSHALL, Cynthia "Cindy" Lee age 58 of Weston, Kings County passed away Friday, September 22, 2017 with her family by her side as she went home peacefully at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born November 23, 1958, she was a daughter of John Burns, Lake Echo, NS and Frances Burns, Middleton. Cindy loved her pets, enjoyed going fishing and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her family. Surviving are her husband LeRoy; daughters Pamela Fanning (Jason Banks), Upper Granville and Mary Hiltz, Weston; sisters Terry (Sheldon) Nichols, Nictaux, Marcia (David) Cropley, Wilmot and Ginny Potts, Nictaux; brothers Peter Burns (Kari-Lyn Drummond), Middleton and Adam (Marcy) Burns, Wilmot; grandchildren Samantha Hiltz "Bumble Bee", Landen and Lennox Banks, nieces, Holly, Lauren, Alexus and Sarah, nephews, Hudson and Harper. By request, cremation has taken place. A private family gathering to celebrate Cindy's life will be held at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to Diabetes Canada or to a charity of choice.
