CAREY, Donald" Robert", age 86 of Kingston, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at home. Born April 12, 1930, in Blair Ont., he was a son of the late Donald and Mineta (Yeo) Carey. Robert retired from the R.C.A.F. as Master Corporal with 33 years of service. After his retirement he remained very active as a volunteer in his community.  Robert was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 98, Kingston. He was a part time bartender at the Corporal's Club and the West Kings Arena. Robert will be deeply missed by his wife and family.  He is survived by his wife Lee;  daughters; Debra-Lee (Ronnie Selig) Carey, Greenwood,  NS, Kim Carey, Kingston, NS, sons; Michael (Doris) Carey, Regina SK, Robert Carey (Bonnie Taylor) , Edmonton, AB; six grandchildren; Robbie, David, Justin, Chad, Theresa, Dale and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by four sisters and three brothers.  Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Branch #98,  Royal Canadian Legion, 1472 Veterans Lane, Kingston, NS.
