HATT, Daisy Emma Kathleen – 90, of Melvern Square, passed away March 19, 2024 in Heart of the Valley Long Term Care Center, Middleton. Born in Wilmot, she was the daughter of the late Lowell and Lillian (Hatt) Corbin.

Daisy worked at Scotian Gold in her younger years. As a young widower with four daughters and four stepsons, Daisy was grateful to her community for the outreach and support which allowed her to keep her family together.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Alonzo "Boyd" Chapman; second husband, Gordon "Ticker" Hatt; twin brother, Donald Spurgeon; sisters, Ethel Marietta Allen and Edna Hope Corbin; brother, Emery Carl.

Surviving are daughters, Katherine "Kathy"(John) Armstrong, Melvern Square, Patricia "Pat" (Ron) Theberge, Edmonton, AB, Joan (Bill) Carlisle, Edmonton, AB, Wanda Chapman, Berwick; stepsons, Darrell and Eric Chapman, both of Truro; brothers, St. Clair, Wilmot and Earl "Timmy" Corbin, Yarmouth; grandchildren, Carrie, David, Roy, Tara, Andrew, Michael, Amy, Jill, Jonathan, Cassandra, Jennifer, Bill, and Terry; great grandchildren, McLaren, Indiana, Logan, Carter, Isla, Alyssa, Brielle, Kylie Drew, Hugo Jr., Julian, Liam, Adam, Ashley, Joel, Evelyn, Isaac, Noah, and Lexi; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service followed by a reception will be held 2 pm Wednesday, April 10, 2024, in Melvern Square United Baptist Church with Rev. Elizabeth Amirault officiating.
