PARKER, Dale Leroy – It is with great sadness that the family of Dale Parker announces his sudden passing at Soldier's Memorial Hospital, Middleton, on April 3, 2018, from a massive heart attack. He is survived by his wife, Valerie Lynne (Head) of 49 years; son, Robert Charles (Silvia Figueredo), grandson, Nicholas, granddaughter, Mikaela all of Bradford, Ont.; daughter, Krystal (Justin Lowe), Mineville; brothers, Anthony, Vance; sister, Cindy and many nieces and nephews. Dale was predeceased by his father, St. Clair Parker and mother, Geraldine (Coulter) of Aylesford; sister, Brenda Connors of Cambridge; and Gary Parker of Berwick. Dale served with the Canadian Military for 34 years (Oct. 1966 until Aug. 2001). He had been posted to CFB Greenwood (twice) CFB Cold Lake, Baden-Baden and Downsview, Ont. Over the years he worked with Community Services Cold Lake, Beavers and Scouts Canada. He was a strong supporter for Blood Donations to the Red Cross. Upon release from the armed forces he joined the commissionaires in 2002 until now. We would like to thank the Military Police, Dr. Smith at the Kingston Family Health Clinic and the Hospital Emergency staff at Soldiers Memorial. There will be a Memorial Service 2:00 PM Monday, April 9th at Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main St. 902-825-3448 with Padre Kent Greer officiating.
