ATCHISON, David Carl – age 67 of Nictaux, NS passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017 in the Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton after a hard fought battle with cancer. Born in Middleton, he was a son of the late Roland and Marjorie (Willett) Atchison. David spent his working career with moving companies and in construction. He enjoyed working outside, in his garage and riding his four-wheeler. David or Dave, was a friend to many and will be greatly missed. His kind heart, humor (mostly inappropriate) and steadfast loyalty to those he held dear is irreplaceable.  He is survived by his daughter, Kelly (Jason) MacMillan, Port Hawkesbury; his brother, Glenn Atchison, Ontario and his grandson, Avery. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Richard. In keeping with David's wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held 11:00AM Friday, December 8, 2017 in the Nictaux Cemetery with Rev. Bill McLeod officiating. All are welcome to attend.
