BRENTON, David Johnathan ~ Age 41, of Lower Sackville, formerly of Shubenacadie, passed away suddenly on Monday, December 8, 2025, at home. Born on March 16, 1984, in Halifax, he was the son of John C. Brenton and the late Deborah L. Gaul.

David was a graduate of Hants East Rural High School, Milford. He worked at Irving Oil, and later with TD Bank at their head office in Halifax. David loved spending time with his dog, Leena. He loved gaming and any nerd stuff. David always brought a smile on everyone's face and would find humour in every situation. He would frequently stop at local farm markets and loved a good road trip adventure.

Besides his father he is survived by his twin brother, Graig (Becky) Brenton; nephews, Charlie and William; niece, Gabriella; grandparents, Yvonne Brenton (Jack MacNeil) and Bill and Zillah Gaul.

Besides his mother, he was predeceased by grandfather, John S. Brenton.
