Obituary

CURRY, David Leslie - 74 of Greenwood passed away on Friday, June 26, 2015 in Grand View Manor, Berwick. David was born and raised on the Curry farm in Wilmot, a son of the late Lee and Helen (Armstrong) Curry. David retired as mechanical shop supervisor for the Department of Transportation and also worked many years at Bruce Motors, Middleton. He was a member of the Kingston District Fire Commission. David was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. In his spare time he enjoyed stock car racing, gardening, telling jokes and spending time with his grandchildren, but mostly enjoyed hunting and fishing with friends and family at Randall Lake. David is survived by his wife of 48 years, the former Edna Aldred; sons Curtis (Paula), Kingston, Barry (Denise), Dartmouth and James (Sarah), Berwick; foster sister, Lillian (Allan) Swaine, Port La Tour; six grandchildren Sarah, Tyler, Brittany, Krista, Matthew and Jack; great grandchild Savanah and several nieces and nephews. David was predeceased by brothers William "Bill" and Blake. Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date in the Tremont Cemetery.
