Obituary

DRYSDALE, David Clifford "Dave" – age 79, of Clarence, Annapolis Co., died on Monday, December 11, 2017, in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Edward and Margaret (Hutt) Drysdale. Surviving are his wife, Gloria (Aptt) Drysdale of Clarence and her families in Nova Scotia; sons, Patrick, Jim, John, David & Mick and their families, all in the U.S.A.; brothers, Jim & John Todd and their families in Halifax. Dave began his life in Halifax. His first love of music started when he joined the family band. In the late 1950's he enlisted in the Canadian Army and was stationed in Gagetown, N.B. Then Dave was off to the U.S.A. to pursue his music. He was in several bands, wrote songs and made records. In later years, Dave returned to Nova Scotia where he continued playing music and pursuing his other interests in unique classic autos and attending car shows. He will be sadly missed by his furry friend, Burt. Interment will take place in the spring. Memorial donations may be made to Diabetes Canada.
