Strang, David Alan – Age 51 of Greenwood passed away, Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born, July 2, 1971 in Berwick, he was a son of the late William "Bill" Ellis and Willina Carmel (Layton) Strang. David lived across Canada in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Nova Scotia as a child of an Air Force Military member. David loved hiking, mountain biking and trying to step outside of his comfort zone with outdoor activities. He had a passion for nature, waterfalls, and ocean sunsets. He always had music playing in the background and enjoyed seeing live musical performances. He was well read and enjoyed the topics of math and physics. He had a small but tight group of friends. David worked for McDonald's doing various maintenance jobs which he thoroughly enjoyed. He had a big heart and always lent a helping hand. David is survived by his sister, Elizabeth "Beth" Ann MacKeigan, Kingston; nephews, Ryan MacKeigan, Greenwood, Paul MacKeigan, Montreal; good friend, Gina Potvin, Greenwood; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Besides his parents, David was predeceased by his brother, Joseph. Cremation has taken place. There is no service at this time as per David's wishes.
