Obituary

TURNER, David Clive – 66 of Nictaux passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016 in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Middleton, he was a son of the late Lester and Beatrice (Robar) Turner. David retired as a painter after 45 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, particularly spending time in the garden, hunting and fishing and in the last few years he also made many wooden crafts. David is survived by his wife of 45 years, the former Pamela Oakes; daughters Tammy Turner (Chad Wetter), Nictaux and Carrie Turner (Vernon McLeod), Middleton; son Greg Turner, Greenwood; sisters Margaret Blaschke, Kingston, Esther MacKenzie, Forest Glade, Carol Morrell, Digby and Sharon Wright, Fredericton, NB; brother Phillip Turner, Chatham, NB; grandchildren Myrissa, Jacey, Kerstin, Jamie, Kalie, Chelsey and Alyssa as well as three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister Vivian Chase and brothers Kenneth and Albert. By request, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
