VEINOTTE, David Lee – 86, of Big Mush-A-Mush Lake, Lunenburg County, NS passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025, in Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany. Born in Mahone Bay, he was a son of the late Leander and Gretchen (Albrecht) Veinotte. David worked for MT&T handling installations and equipment upgrades for many years. In his retirement, he enjoyed time at the lake watching the boats go by or watching sports on television, especially golf, curling, and hockey. Surviving are his sons, Shawn, Big Mush-A-Mush Lake; Darren (Melissa), Timberlea; granddaughter, Mackenzie; sister, Julie Wentzell, Kentville. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his infant daughter, Kimberly; brothers Robert, Douglas, and Vincent; sister Shirley; and the mother of his boys, Elaine.
