WILLIAMS, David Earle of Wilmot, Annapolis Co., passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015 in Soldier's Memorial Hospital, Middleton, NS. Born August 17, 1944, he was the first son of the late Frederick Earle and Evelyn (Chater) Williams. Dave was a master of all trades carpenter, electrician, plumber, welder, machinist, metallurgist, mechanic and computer programmer. Anything that he put his mind to, he was able to master. He is survived by his wife Barbara (Fougere) Williams, son Sean, Georgetown, TX and grandsons Bryce and Nicolas, daughter Brandie (Mike) Lavoie, Hubbards; siblings Donald (Lynn) Williams,Salisbury, NB; Patricia (John) Phillips, Salisbury, NB; Richard (Judith) Williams, Gabriola Island, BC; Gary (Cindi) Williams, Edmonton, AB and Julie(Williams)Wilson. David's love of motorcycles developed early, racing dirt track with high school buddies in the1960's, and earning the title "The best damn motorcycle mechanic in the Valley" among his peers. Dave served 25 years in the Air Force and retired from the workforce in 2000. Having an aptitude for many hobbies, he enjoyed archery, woodworking, making handcrafted pewter, and had a passion for Star Trek and science fiction. He will be truly missed by his family. Cremation has taken place and there will be no service or memorial held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia.
