GAVEL, Delphine Myra- 85 of Middleton, NS passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in River Head, Shelburne County, NS, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Theo (Goodwin) Watt. Delphine worked for Ditmars and McNeil for many years and later at the V&S Variety Store, both in Middleton. She is survived by her sister, Eileen "Tena" (Hal) Goodwin, Red Bluff, California and a step daughter and two step sons. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Richard and brother, Wilson. By Delphine's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. Interment will take place at a later date in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middleton. Thank you to Dean, David and the Staff at Middleton Manor for their exceptional care and compassion and special thanks to her friend, Diane for the many hours spent with Delphine over the winter.
