Dennis Joseph Ramsay ~ 59 years of age of Kentville, NS passed away suddenly at his home in Kentville on July 5th, 2023. Dennis was born February 9 th,1964 at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Middleton NS. Dennis was the son of the late Robert and Rita (Casey) Ramsay and was pre-deceased by his brother Bobby and his partner of 33 years, Eva Turple. Dennis is survived by his two older sisters Margaret and Maureen; two Brothers Frank and Paul and his daughter and son. Dennis completed his Brick and Tile Course at the Middleton Vocational School. Dennis worked as a Brick Layer for several years. Dennis was a great Folk Artist, a passion that he loved. His paintings were widely distributed throughout the province and beyond. Dennis had a great love for nature. Donations in his memory may be made to your local SPCA or any animal charity. A graveside service will be held 6:00pm Wednesday, July 12, 2023, in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Kingston with Father Michael Walsh officiating.
